Pickup with ZU-23-2

The pickup truck by Meng was built almost OOTB and was very easy and fun project. The downside of the kit is its rubber wheels and I didn't succeed in making them look properly sagged. The resin ones are still somewhere in shipping:( So i'll use them for another one later on:)

I used accessories by SDM, DAN models, Miniart, DEF etc.
The subject was initially inspired by photos of Lybian technicals, yet the resulting model can be also attributed to Syria, Somalia, Sub-Saharian Africa or whatever post-apocalyptical Arsch der Welt 🙂

KO Egyptian T-34/85

This is my attempt of building a burnt out tank model. The subject is T-34/85, 6 day war. Relatively many aftermarket items were used

My part of the joint article was a build review

SLA T-54 APC

The subject is a conversion of T-54 into open-top APC, made by South Lebanese Army in the 80s. It seems that there were several vehicles built with minor variations.

The kit is by Miniart, built OOTB with minor additions made of styrene and wire. It's boxart is amazing and it triggered me to get this kit:)

BTR-70, Donbass

It took me about 2 months to finish the model. The Trumpeter kit is very nice and the parts fit decently. I used aftermarket barrels and antennae base, added wires and weld seams. Window bars (fences) and light guards were soldered from wire and copper foil. This type of window frame bars was very popular in ex-USSR in 1990s, so they look very cool and special for being attached to an AFV.
The stowage was taken from Minart, DAN models, Realmodel.
I was inspired by photos of 2 BTR-80s belonging to both sides of the conflict in the Donbass region hence I made kinda generic BTR. Yes, mine is BTR-70, but never mind  The photos were taken from lostarmour.info.

T-30 Light tank

This is my build of Hobbyboss Soviet T-30 light tank. Very nice kit that fits well. However there are a number of small issues that were addressed: weld seams, rivets and bolt heads quality and placing, armament, redundant details left form T-40 etc. Rather small tank that looks more like 1/48 than 1/35 )
